Introduction

Welcome to Matterinvoice.com, also known as Matter or Matter Invoice, a product developed by Forest Ave Ltd Co ("we," "us," or "our"). Matter Invoice is a robust tool that enables businesses to integrate their Stripe and MetaMask accounts for the creation, sending, and management of invoices, facilitating payments through credit/debit cards via Stripe and cryptocurrency transactions via MetaMask.

By accessing or using Matter Invoice, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (ToS). If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the service.

Ownership and Operation

Ownership: Matter Invoice is owned and operated by Forest Ave Ltd Co.

Agreement to Terms: By utilizing Matter Invoice, you are agreeing to these terms.

Use of Service

Account Creation: Users are required to register an account and link their Stripe and MetaMask accounts to use Matter Invoice.

Eligibility: You confirm that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under applicable law.

Financial Transactions

Payment Processing: Matter Invoice enables the sending and receiving of payments but is not a payment processor.

Stripe Payments: Credit/debit card payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to their terms and conditions.

Crypto Payments: Cryptocurrency transactions are facilitated through MetaMask, for which we do not control wallet functionality or transactions.

Fees and Charges

Matter Invoice Fees: Matter Invoice charges a 1% fee on the total paid amount of each invoice, in addition to standard fees charged by Stripe. This fee is non-refundable, even if the invoice amount is returned. We do not charge any fees for transactions made through MetaMask.

Stripe Payment Timing: Note that payouts from Stripe can take up to 10 days.

Risks and Responsibilities

Cryptocurrency Risks: Users recognize the volatile nature of cryptocurrencies and acknowledge that the regulatory environment may change.

Tax Compliance: Users are responsible for consulting with a crypto tax professional to ensure compliance with tax laws.

Data Handling

Public Information: Ensure that only public information is included in invoices.

Data Breach Liability: We are not responsible for the security of non-public information entered into the service. Users are responsible for securing their data.

Data Privacy and Security

Data Collection: We collect business and invoice status data but do not store credit card details, which are handled by Stripe.

Data Use: Collected information is used to operate and enhance Matter Invoice.

Intellectual Property

Ownership Rights: All rights, including intellectual property rights in Matter Invoice, are owned by Forest Ave Ltd Co. Reproduction or modification without permission is prohibited.

Limitation of Liability

Warranty Disclaimer: Matter Invoice is provided "as is" without warranties. Forest Ave Ltd Co is not liable for damages related to your use of Matter Invoice.

Termination

Service Termination: We may terminate or suspend your access to Matter Invoice without prior notice if you breach these Terms.

Changes to Terms

Modifications: We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes implies acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Forest Ave Ltd Co is registered.

Matterinvoice.com, also known as Matter or Matter Invoice, is a product developed by Forest Ave Ltd Co., a product incubator. Matter serves as an invoicing tool that facilitates the integration of users' MetaMask crypto wallets and Stripe for card payments. Matter charges a fee of 1% per transaction, which is in addition to the standard fees imposed by Stripe. Detailed information about Stripe's fees can be found at Stripe's pricing page.

Matter does not take any fee for transactions made through MetaMask crypto payments. Please note that the processing of card payments via Stripe may take up to 10 days for funds to be paid out, as determined by Stripe's policies.

Matter does not have control over, nor is it responsible for, the fees charged by Stripe. The 1% fee charged by Matter is strictly in addition to any fees levied by Stripe. Forest Ave Ltd Co. does not handle, hold, or manage funds at any point in the transaction process.

Please be aware that the use of Matter and its invoicing services are governed by our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Users are responsible for ensuring that the use of Matter's services, along with Stripe and MetaMask, complies with all applicable laws and regulations within their jurisdiction. Forest Ave Ltd Co. is not liable for the actions of third parties, including Stripe and MetaMask, or any discrepancies that arise from the use of these services.
